As a German-American who has lived in a lot of places, I’ve done a lot of stuff.
Originally from South Carolina, I grew up in a combination of Germany, Minnesota, North Dakota, and North Carolina.
My time at university began at North Carolina State University, but when during the COVID-19 pandemic, I transferred to an online program and moved with my family back to South Carolina.
After receiving my BA in Peace and Conflict Studies with a minor in Sociology in 2023, I moved to Scotland to begin my master’s degree.
In 2024, I graduated from the University of St Andrews with an MRes in Anthropology, Art & Perception. Three days after submitting my thesis, I moved from Scotland to Denmark for a consulting and research internship in Copenhagen.
All throughout these adventures, I continued to play cello, create art, write, and do research.
When I’m not working on groundbreaking research or writing the next great American novel (it is in the works), I take Pilates classes, drink numerous hot beverages, crochet tiny frogs, attempt to bake (emphasis on attempt), and make little vlogs for my friends and family documenting my travels and foodie excursions..
